Math and Science Night has been rescheduled for
Thursday, February 4, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. |
| Northside
families are invited to come for hands on learning.
Science and Math stations will be set up to allow
parents to explore with their child. There will
be contests and door prizes. Popcorn will be served.
Childcare will be provided for siblings of Northside
kindergarten students. We are asking that you attend
during your recommended time to help with parking
and traffic congestion. Both sessions will begin
with a mini concert in the cafeteria. Group 1: Brown,
Knoner, Bunch, LaRue, Bergthold, Blankenship, White,
Whittington from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Group 2: Blake,
Freking, Mauney, Jones, Fox/Dunn, Thomas, Kindy,
Lemons from 7:00-8:00 p.m. |

Kard. They are available for $10 in the office and

Congratulations to Sherry Engle, Northside's Teacher
of the Year for 2009-2010! |
| Sherry
Engle has been selected by her colleagues as the
Northside Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Engle is a kindergarten
resource and co-teacher. She has 25 years of experience
in public education. Mrs. Engle said, "I always
knew as a young girl that I wanted to teach and
especially to work with children with special learning
needs." |

School Computer Lab on Tuesday and Thursday from
3:15-5:00 p.m./Salon de Computadoras Despues de

Parents
are invited to bring your child to the computer
lab in room 25 after school on Tuesdays and
Thursdays between 3:15 and 5:00 p.m. to work
on reading and math skills. Students may work
as long as they want to work. Usually 15-30
minutes works best for most students.
Acompana a su nino a nuestra Salon de Computadoras
(salon 25) despues de la escuela el Martes
o Jueves entre las 3:15 y 5 p.m. para practicar
sus habilidades de leer y matematicas. Pueden

District's Students and Parents |

is a web-based software training program that offers
easy-to-follow tutorials on more than 110 applications.
Any Siloam Springs School District student or parent
can use the access code and receive free computer
instruction. If you would like the access codes,
contact the school office or your child's teacher.
